My basic medical training took place in the Wellington region with my Gastroenterology training taking place in Auckland and Waikato. Gastroenterology Fellowship, Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK.
About Chris
Chris is Wellington born and bred and has worked as a consultant Gastroenterologist since 2016. He did his gastroenterology training in Wellington, Hamilton and Auckland prior to completing an overseas fellowship at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge, UK. His fellowship was particularly focused in GI Endoscopy, Nutrition support, Inflammatory Bowel disease and GI motility/ functional Gut disease.
Chris practises privately at Bowen Hospital Wellington, The Rutherford Clinic, and also works at Wellington Public hospital. Chris also practiced General Medicine at Hutt Valley Hospital in 2016/2017.
Chris has an interest in Nutrition support in both the hospitalised and outpatient setting. He was a former Auspen council member. (Australasian society of Parenteral and enteral Nutrition).
