Amanda is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist at Wellington Regional Hospital, and has recently joined The Rutherford Clinic.  She is dedicated to the delivery of high quality, evidence based care to the Wellington region. She offers diagnostic and therapeutic upper and lower endoscopy and is also a national bowel screening endoscopist.

She is a New Zealand graduate and completed her specialist training in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington regions. Her fellowship was at the Liver transplant unit at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham UK. She is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Otago and continues post-graduate study in clinical education and public health.
